Messino Cancer Centers Opens Second Asheville, NC, Clinic
Messino Cancer Centers has opened a second Asheville location to expand patient-centered oncology care closer to home in Western North Carolina.

Messino Cancer Centers, a partner of the American Oncology Network (AON) providing community-based care in Western North Carolina, opened its second Asheville location in March 2026.
“This new clinic allows us to expand access to high-quality, patient-centered cancer care while ensuring patients can receive the treatments and support they need close to home,” Rachel Raab, MD, said in a Centers press release. “Our goal has always been to deliver personalized care in a compassionate environment, and this space helps us continue that mission while meeting the growing needs of our community.”
Messino Cancer Centers serves Asheville, Brevard, Franklin, Marion, Sylva, and surrounding communities through 6 clinics. Board-certified physicians Rachel Raab, MD, and Emily Miller, MD, are currently accepting new patients and plan to focus on breast cancer care at the new clinic Tuesdays to Thursdays. Alina Thompson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is also part of the primary patient care team.
“Our new location reflects our continued commitment to providing exceptional oncology care in a setting designed with the patient experience in mind,” Dr Miller said in the release. “From private consultation rooms to expanded infusion services, every aspect of the clinic was created to support patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.”
