Hawai’i Cancer Care Opens Third Clinic
Hawai’i Cancer Care has opened a third clinic in Kahului, expanding access to comprehensive oncology care for Maui residents.
American Oncology Network (AON) partner Hawai’i Cancer Care opened its third location—a new clinic in Kahului—providing Maui residents with greater access to cancer care closer to home.
Board-certified medical oncologists Melvin P. Palalay, MD, and David J. Tamura, MD, along with nurse practitioner Judy Ko, RN, MSN, APRN, now accept patients at the Hawai’i Cancer Care–Kahului clinic on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The practice provides comprehensive, research-based treatment for cancer and blood disorders through a holistic, team-oriented approach. Patients benefit from a full range of services—from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and support—without the need to travel long distances for care. The clinic includes private exam rooms designed for patient–physician consultations and an infusion room.
“This new clinic allows us to make high-quality cancer care more accessible to patients on Maui,” Dr Tamura said in an AON press release. “We look forward to serving this community and continuing our mission to deliver personalized care that meets each patient’s unique needs.”
“Our patient-first approach guides everything we do, and we’re committed to maintaining the highest standards of care for every person who walks through our doors,” Dr Palalay said in the release.
